Plantation Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple is a flavoured rum created by cellar master Alexandre Gabriel and drinks historian David Wondrich for Tales of the Cocktail, produced by Maison Ferrand, Barbados. Queen Victoria pineapple rinds are infused in white rum for a week, while the fruit itself steeps in dark rum for three months; the two are then blended and further aged in casks.

The nose brings honeydew melon, cola cubes and ginger cake with restrained, authentic pineapple. On the palate, spiced molasses, shortbread and juicy pineapple develop earthy, cassia-spiced depth, finishing with vanilla, lemon, mango and spearmint. Named after a pineapple-rum-loving character from Dickens' The Pickwick Papers.
