Poderi Colla is a historic family estate in the Langhe, founded by the legendary Beppe Colla, who spent decades at the helm of Prunotto before establishing his own vineyards across Barolo, Barbaresco and Alta Langa. This bottling – the Barolo DOCG Bussia Dardi le Rose Riserva named in his honour – is made from 100% Nebbiolo grown on the Bussia hillside, hand-harvested and given 12–15 days of skin maceration before a long élevage of 24–48 months in oak followed by further bottle ageing.

The result is a wine of real power, harmony and complexity: delicate aromas of dried flowers, sweet spice and red fruit lead into a palate of berry and damson, soft tannins and a liquorice-edged, long finish. It is a classic partner for roast beef, prime rib or a rich mushroom ragù.
