Every bottling in the range is double matured: the rum spends at least five years ageing before being finished in a second type of cask. Alongside this Pedro Ximénez expression, the family includes Bourbon Cask, Oloroso and Peated Single Malt finishes, each bottled at 40% ABV.

For this expression the finishing casks are first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalucía, Spain, which lend the sweetness and dark fruit of PX before the rum is bottled at 40% ABV.
