RumChata Cream Liqueur is a liqueur from RumChata Brands (E. & J. Gallo), Wisconsin (blended with Caribbean rum), United States.
A pale, creamy liqueur with a warm cinnamon-and-vanilla nose reminiscent of horchata. Rich and dessert-like on the palate, combining five-times-distilled Caribbean rum with real dairy cream, giving flavours of brown sugar, milk chocolate and a soft hint of banana, with a smooth, sweet, lingering finish.
The Story: RumChata was created in 2009 by Wisconsin entrepreneur Tom Maas, inspired by traditional Latin American horchata, and built into a major US liqueur brand before E. & J. Gallo Winery acquired the company in 2021.
Serving Suggestion: Served neat over ice, in coffee, or as the cream base for cocktails such as a RumChata White Russian.
