The Dalmore 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl

The Dalmore 12 Year Old is the signature expression from the Dalmore distillery on the shores of the Cromarty Firth in the Highlands. First matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, the spirit is then finished in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks, a process overseen by master distiller emeritus Richard Paterson. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is instantly recognisable by its iconic stag's head bottle emblem.

• Nose: Orange, dark plums, chocolate and marzipan.
• Palate: Citrus, Christmas cake, coffee and cinnamon, with layers of gingerbread and praline.
• Finish: Orange, vanilla, plums and a warming trace of cinnamon.
