The Lakes Vodka is an English wheat vodka from The Lakes Distillery, set within the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. It is made from the finest British wheat and distilled using pure water drawn from the River Derwent, resulting in a clean, ultra-smooth vodka with a soft, slightly sweet character from the wheat base.
On the nose it's clean with a light peppery edge and hints of fudge. The palate carries white and black pepper spice with touches of charcoal, fudge and toasted wholemeal bread crust, finishing clean and crisp with a peppery warmth reminiscent of classic Russian-style vodkas.
Winner of World's Best Vodka at the World Vodka Awards 2019, it's versatile enough to serve ice-cold and neat, in a classic Martini, or as the base of an Espresso Martini.
