Villa Sandi Il Fresco Prosecco Rosé is a Prosecco DOC Rosé Millesimato in a dry Brut style, made from Glera with a proportion of Pinot Nero. It has a copper-pink colour and fine, persistent bubbles, with the red berry freshness and floral lift typical of the style. This Villa Sandi Rosé is light at 11% ABV and easy to serve.
About the producer
Villa Sandi is owned by the Moretti Polegato family and is based at a Palladian-style villa dating to 1622 in the Veneto, between the Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG area and the Montello and Colli Asolani DOC area. The estate reflects the long bond between art and agriculture that characterises the Venetian landscape.
How it’s made
The white must is blended with a small part of red wine made from Pinot Nero, which is macerated gently to extract colour. The cuvée then undergoes a controlled second fermentation at 15–16°C in tank, the Charmat method, and rests for at least two months on the yeasts before bottling.

Nose: Fresh floral notes, small red fruits and pomegranate.
Palate: Fresh, silky and soft, with a well balanced, dry feel.
Finish: Clean and well balanced, with persistent fine bubbles.
How to enjoy it
Serve Villa Sandi Il Fresco Prosecco Rosé well chilled, at 6–8°C, in a medium open glass. It is an excellent aperitif and pairs well with finger food, ham and salami, delicate cheeses, fish starters and small pastries. Raw fish and linguine with delicate sauces also suit it.
