Wolfburn Morven is a gently smoked, smooth and rounded single malt from Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso, the most northerly mainland distillery in Scotland. Lightly peated at 10ppm, it is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and Islay quarter casks, non-chill-filtered and bottled at natural colour.
Nose: Smoky at first, with fruit, fresh sea air, vanilla and oak shavings.
Palate: Floral notes, raisins, light spice, malty with a soft honey sweetness.
Finish: Soft, smooth, lingering peat.
