Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon, South Eastern Australia, 75cl
Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon, South Eastern Australia, 75cl
Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, full-bodied Australian red made for easy everyday drinking. Fruit from vineyards across South Eastern Australia is blended for consistency, giving juicy blackcurrant, sweet mocha and a touch of spice, with soft tannins that keep the style velvety and approachable.
About the brand
Yellow Tail was launched in 2001 by Casella Family Brands, a family-owned winery based in Yenda, in the Riverina region of New South Wales. The label is crafted by the Casella family, now in its sixth generation, and became one of Australia’s most widely exported wine brands on the back of simple, fruit-forward wines.
How it’s made
The Cabernet Sauvignon is fermented on its skins at controlled temperatures to capture varietal character, colour and tannin, with some oak contact for a little spice. Sourcing from across South Eastern Australia lets the winemakers keep the wine consistent from one release to the next.
Tasting notes
