About the brand

Yellow Tail is made by Casella Family Brands, a business Filippo and Maria Casella began in Yenda, New South Wales, in 1969. It grew into what the company describes as Australia’s largest family-owned wine company. The Yellow Tail label launched in 2001 with a simple aim: approachable, fruit-forward wines that introduced many new drinkers to Australian wine.

How it’s made

The Pinot Grigio grapes come from vineyards spread across South Eastern Australia, a broad zone that allows the winemakers to build a consistent, fruit-forward style from year to year.
